I’m Carleon R. Mendoza. I’m a Filipino raised in the cosmopolitan Hong Kong; I bleed Pinoy, behave Chinese, think international – what a troublesome combination!
My skills, knowledge, and expertise have led me to the path of academia and research. I am currently a Teaching Assistant for the Department of Linguistics in The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Before that, I delved into teaching a wide age range, from toddlers to adults. Linguistics is my specialization and I am dedicated to spreading recognition, understanding, and appreciation for languages.
Personally, I’m into working out at the gym, dancing in studios, listening to a myriad of music genres, and spending time with my loved ones and cats.
